- Air Conditioning:
Refers to any form of cooling, ventilation, heating or disinfection in order to cool or dehumidify the indoor air for thermal respite.
- Airline Desk:
Place from where hotel guests can make thier airlines or plane bookings and reservations or check timings and availability.
- Babysitting:
A temporary job of taking care of a child on behalf of the child’s parents. A common practice with teenagers in an attempt to earn some extra money.
- Barber Shop/Hairdresser:
A business where the main occupation is to cut different styled hair, trim beards and give shaves.
- Beauty Shop/Salon:
A shop that traditionally sells cosmetics or a shop where beauticians and hairdressers work.
- Business Centre:
A commercial premise available to the occupiers for a short period of time strictly on a membership basis of the centre.
- Business Services:
Provision or facility for guests whereby, a temporary occupancy is offered to guests for their business offices and other purposes.
- Car Rental Desk:
Place from where hotel guests can rent a cab or car or borrow a tourists vehicle for their tour or sightseeing.
- Casino:
Refers to any property that houses or is the hub for different types of gambling activities. Mostly built attached to the hotels or restaurants or other major tourist attractions.
- Children's Program:
Television programs designed and broadcasted especially for the children of all ages. These may be either entertainment centred or may be for educating the youngsters.
- Coffee Shop:
Refers to a small restaurant or cafe that traditionally serves coffee or espresso based drinks in combination with light refreshments.
- Conference Rooms:
Also known as a conference hall, this serves as a place for business conferences and is most often commonly built with hotels and convention centers.
- Connecting Rooms:
Specially designed rooms that allow easy access from one room to the other through internal connecting ways.
- Continental Breakfast:
A light or low-calorie breakfast that is usually composed of cereals, juice or pasteries.
- Disco:
Also known as discotheque, this is a public dance hall where people can dance on popular recorded music or dance numbers.
- Elevator:

A small area meant for cooking food in hotel or motel rooms or any other place with small floor space. It usually houses a microwave, refrigerator and a few other basic things.
- Laundromat:
A self-service laundry facility also known as launderettes or laundrettes, where clothes are washed and dried.
- Medical Services:
Refers to health care through the proper management and treatment of illness with the help of services offered by physicians and other medicos.
- Mountain View:
Basically refers to any property that is close by or adjacent to a mountian. It may also refer to a side of the property that faces the mountain.

A staff that is capable of using or communicating in two or more languages in an equally fluent way.
