While many Upscale hotels have gone pet-friendly and let the dogs in as guests the Fairmont Washington DC is taking canine care to a new level volunteering to serve as a puppy raiser for guiding eyes for the blind. On March 22nd the hotel will out the red carpet for its first resident puppy Marcie a 13-week-old black Labrador. For the next 14 to 18 months Fairmont Washington DC staff will help prepare Marcie for her future as a guide dog. |
